Ficus Terrarium

A tall, beautiful terrarium featuring a Ficus ginseng - a hardy plant reminiscent of a bonsai tree, sat among a bed of cushion moss. 

The thick root of the Ficus compliments the cork lid that seals this terrarium and a simple, elegant design lends itself well to any homestead or workplace.  

This terrarium is closed, so little maintenance should be required. A self-sustaining ecosystem is formed via the layers of LECA, charcoal and substrate.

Though, we always provide care instructions so you can be sure.

Because the terrariums are fragile, we ship them packed with tissue paper. You'll need to remove the tissue paper. The plants and moss may arrive a little compressed, but they will spring back up.

• As this item contains live plants, please unpack it as soon as possible. 
• Although our terrariums are always put through at least a two-week incubation period to ensure plants/mosses are settled and acclimatised, plants + positioning may alter slightly from photos at the time of receipt, but don't worry - we always make sure they look intricate and natural.
• If any of the plants die within 3 weeks of purchase, we will send you replacement plants in the post for free (Which may not be the exact same as the originals) providing all instructions have been followed.

This is a live terrarium.

Make sure to keep it somewhere that gets bright, indirect
sunlight.

Keep away from anywhere that might experience fluctuating
temperatures, like on top of a windowsill or beside a radiator.

If the terrarium has no condensation, droopy leaves, light-coloured/dry
soil, and crispy moss – it may need gentle watering.

Use distilled or rainwater
from a mister to achieve an even, light distribution of water.

After months or years, you may need to prune excess growth inside the terrarium.
