About Us:
ome is a Bristol-based terrarium and plant shop specialising in live and preserved terrariums, plants, moss, and unique botanical creations. We’re a small, creative team passionate about bringing nature home — and we’re looking for a reliable, adaptable Shop Assistant to help us on Saturdays.

The Role:
As our Saturday Shop Assistant, you’ll work predominantly alongside our Shop Manager, Lyra. You’ll assist with customer service, stock management, order fulfilment, and general upkeep.

Key Responsibilities:
• Greet and assist customers, providing friendly and knowledgeable service
• Operate the till and manage transactions accurately
• Maintain and organise stock (plants, terrariums, moss, and materials)
• Manufacture and pre-pack stock
• Fulfil online orders
• Open and close the shop when required
• Keep the shop clean, tidy, and inviting for customers

We’re looking for someone who is:
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
• Flexible and adaptable to different types of work
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team
• Able to balance multiple tasks or focus on a single, repetitive jobs as needed
• Friendly and approachable with good communication skills
• Comfortable handling plants, moss, and small bugs.

Desirable:
Previous retail or plant/terrarium shop experience (but not required — training provided)
